Service Details for Harris County MUD No. 342:

• Collection begins Thursday, April 2nd.
  
• Republic Services will remove their carts.  If your cart is not removed, you can use it in addition to ours, or place it empty at the curb with a note on it saying TRASH/BASURA, and Texas Pride Disposal will remove it.
  
• Garbage Collection Guidelines:
  • Service days: Monday & Thursday
  • Have waste curbside by 7:00 am
  • Garbage should be placed curbside in the provided cart (black lid).  Overflow can be placed in personal cans between 20 and 95 gallons and under 50 pounds, or bags under 50 pounds.
  • Yard waste should be in personal cans between 20 and 95 gallons and under 50 pounds, or bags under 50 pounds.  Branches should be tied and bundled under 4' in length and under 50 pounds, or neatly stacked in clear, individual piles not measuring more than 3' x 3' x 3'.  Limit 8 bundles per service day.
  • Two heavy/bulk items will be collected every service day.  Heavy/bulk items include furniture, appliances, and other items not disposed of on a regular basis.
  • Up to 8 bundles of carpeting will be collected each service day.  Carpet should be tied and bundled under 4' in length and under 50 pounds.

• Recycle Collection Guidelines:
  • Service day: Thursday
  • Have recyclables curbside by 7:00 am
  • Recycle should be placed curbside in the provided cart (gray lid), old recycle bins, or containers clearly labeled RECYCLE.
  • Recyclable items include paper products, cardboard, paperboard, waxboard containers, aluminum and tin cans, plastics #1-#5, #7, and glass bottles and jars.  A detailed list of recyclables can be found here.
