Individual Bill Sticker System
Texas Pride Disposal has implemented a sticker system for individually billed and subscription accounts. This system has a proven track record of assisting with payment enforcement while service is being provided.
How It Works
Once your payment has been processed by Texas Pride Disposal, a sticker will be mailed to you. Place this sticker on your can clearly visible from the curb. A can is required for service. DO NOT PLACE STICKER ON BAGS. Crews will use this sticker to determine if your account is current. As quarters progress and additional stickers are received, cover the previous sticker up with your latest sticker.
Frequently Asked Questions
When will stickers be mailed?
All customers with current accounts have been mailed updated stickers in June 2023. Stickers thereafter will be mailed once payment has cleared your account and the balance is zero.
Where do I place my sticker?
Crews will be looking at the can for a sticker. The sticker MUST be placed on the SIDE of trash can. DO NOT PLACE ON TRASH BAGS. DO NOT PLACE ON LID OF CAN. Do not place on any other item including mailbox, curb, street, planter box.
What if I have multiple trash cans?
Only ONE sticker is needed per household. As long as the container with the sticker is placed out each service, all additional waste will be collected.
What if I just have yard waste out?
The can with the sticker must be out to confirm your account is in good standing.
Do I need a sticker for my recycle container?
No, our recycle crews will not be utilizing the sticker system. Only trash crews will be enforcing the stickers.
How will crews know the sticker is for my house?
The sticker will have a unique customer identification number and address that correlates to your account and most recent payment.
What if I do not have a sticker?
Only accounts with current stickers will be serviced. Addresses that do not have a sticker or that have expired stickers will not be serviced.
What do I do with old stickers?
Cover old stickers with your newest sticker. Do not have multiple stickers showing at once as this can lead to confusion
How do I make sure I get my sticker on time?
To avoid service interruption, we highly encourage you to enroll in auto-draft. This will ensure payment is made with sufficient time to be mailed a sticker, and that no issues will arise from lost mailing of payments.
